Description

The Grafos is a 50cm wide LED wall light built around a curved steel and aluminium arm that sweeps from a circular wall mount to a second circular diffuser point, forming a continuous flowing line. The integrated 19.5W LED sits behind an opal silicone diffuser at each circular element, casting 900 lumens of 3000K warm white light with a soft, ambient quality. The entire fitting is finished in matte black sand-textured coating.

Designed for contemporary and minimalist interiors where asymmetry and sculptural form add visual interest, the Grafos works above seating areas, flanking artwork, or on feature walls in hallways and living spaces. The curved arm can be installed with the flow moving left-to-right or right-to-left, allowing the fitting to adapt to door positions, furniture layout and the natural flow of a room. The 59cm height and 4cm projection from the wall give the fitting presence without dominating smaller wall sections.

The steel and aluminium construction keeps the weight to 0.73kg despite the 50cm span, so the fitting can be fixed to plasterboard walls with appropriate fixings. The matte black sand finish absorbs light rather than reflecting it, keeping the fitting visually recessive during the day while the opal diffusers become the focal point when the LED is switched on. The IP20 rating limits the Grafos to dry indoor locations — bathrooms and outdoor positions require a higher IP rating.

Schuller manufactures the Grafos in Spain. The integrated LED is non-replaceable, with an expected lifespan of approximately 25,000 hours at typical domestic usage (around 15 years at 4-5 hours per day). The fitting is Class 1 and requires an earth connection during installation.

Is the Grafos dimmable?

The integrated LED is compatible with trailing-edge dimmers designed for LED loads. Dimmer compatibility varies by model — test with your specific dimmer before final installation or contact us for recommendations.

Can the curve be installed facing either direction?

Yes. The fitting can be mounted with the arm flowing left-to-right or right-to-left, allowing it to adapt to room layout, furniture position and the natural flow of a space.

What rooms is it suitable for?

The IP20 rating limits the Grafos to dry indoor locations such as living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and dining areas. It is not suitable for bathrooms, kitchens above worktops with splashback, or any outdoor position.

How is the integrated LED replaced when it fails?

The LED is non-user-replaceable. At an expected lifespan of 25,000 hours, typical domestic use (4-5 hours per day) gives around 15 years of operation before the LED reaches end-of-life, at which point the entire fitting would need replacing.
