Description

The Grafos is a 94cm LED wall light built around a continuous S-curve metal arm finished in matte black sand texture, with two spherical opal silicone diffusers at each end housing integrated LEDs. The arm can be mounted with the curve flowing left or right, allowing the fitting to mirror or balance within a space. The integrated 19.5W LED array delivers 900 lumens at 3000K warm white through the opal diffusers.

Designed for large wall expanses in living rooms, hallways, stairwells and above seating areas where a horizontal sculptural element adds visual movement without requiring floor space. The 94cm span suits walls 3m wide or larger, and the 4cm projection keeps the fitting close to the wall plane. The matte black finish contrasts against white, light grey or pale timber walls, while the opal diffusers soften the light output to avoid glare when viewed directly.

The metal arm is formed from a single piece of tubular steel bent into the S-curve shape, then powder-coated in a sand-textured matte black that hides fingerprints and minor surface marks. The opal silicone diffusers are impact-resistant and distribute the LED light evenly without hot spots. At 0.73kg the Grafos is light enough to mount on plasterboard with appropriate fixings, and the Class 1 electrical rating requires an earth connection during installation.

The Grafos is part of Schuller's sculptural wall light collection and shares design DNA with the smaller Grafos model (74cm). The large version provides higher lumen output and greater visual presence on walls where a smaller fitting would be lost. IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor areas only — not suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms or outdoor locations.

Is the Grafos dimmable?

The integrated LED operates on mains voltage and is not dimmable unless paired with a compatible trailing-edge LED dimmer. Compatibility varies by dimmer model — contact us before purchasing a dimmer to confirm.

Can the S-curve be reversed during installation?

Yes. The Grafos can be mounted with the curve flowing left or right, giving flexibility to mirror the shape across paired installations or to direct the visual flow within a room. The orientation is set during fitting to the wall.

What wall size does it suit?

The 94cm width works best on walls 3m wide or larger. On narrower walls the fitting can dominate the space. The 4cm projection from the wall keeps the fitting unobtrusive in circulation areas like hallways.

Is it suitable for bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor areas only. Bathrooms, wet rooms, outdoor locations and areas subject to moisture require a higher IP rating (IP44 minimum).
