Description

The Grace is a 165cm traditional floor lamp with a white painted metal frame, gold accent detailing on the decorative mid-section, and a pleated white fabric shade at the top. The lamp takes a single E14 bulb up to 40W (sold separately), with the fabric shade diffusing the light across the room rather than directing it downwards.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and reading corners where ambient rather than task lighting is needed, the Grace works well alongside armchairs, next to sofas, or in alcoves and bay windows. The 38cm diameter shade sits at approximately 1.4m above floor level when the lamp is in position, placing the light source slightly above eye level for a seated person. The circular weighted base provides stability on carpets and hard floors without requiring wall fixing.

The white finish on the metal frame runs the full height of the lamp, with gold painted detailing on the twisted cage section that sits between the base column and the shade mount. The pleated fabric shade is sewn with vertical channels that soften the light and add texture when viewed from the side. The lamp is rated IP20, making it suitable for dry interior spaces only.

What bulb does the Grace take?

The lamp takes a single E14 (small Edison screw) bulb up to 40W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED bulb between 4-6W and 2700K for ambient room lighting.

Is the height adjustable?

No. The Grace has a fixed height of 165cm from floor to top of shade. The light source sits at approximately 1.4m above floor level, which is slightly above seated eye level.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

No. The Grace is rated IP20, which means it is suitable for dry interior spaces only. It should not be used in bathrooms, wet rooms, or any location where moisture or direct water contact is possible.

How is the shade cleaned?

The pleated fabric shade collects dust over time. Use a soft brush attachment on a vacuum cleaner set to low power, or gently wipe with a dry microfibre cloth. Avoid getting the fabric wet as this may cause staining or shrinkage.
