Description

The Grace is a 2-light wall light built on a white-painted metal scroll frame with gold accents, two white organza fabric shades, and faceted crystal droplets suspended from each arm. Each arm holds an E14 bulb socket beneath a pleated empire-shaped shade with gold braid trim at the top and bottom edges. The crystal droplets hang on polished brass-tone chains below the arms.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms, living rooms and dining areas with traditional or transitional interior schemes, the Grace provides ambient side lighting where a central ceiling fitting would be too bright or where wall space allows for decorative sconces. The white organza shades diffuse the bulb light into a soft glow, while the crystal droplets catch and reflect it. The 39cm width and 25cm projection from the wall suit rooms with moderate wall space — not so large it dominates narrow hallways, not so small it disappears in wide rooms.

The white-painted metal frame features a scrolled backplate and two curved arms, each terminating in a faceted crystal bobeche beneath the shade holder. The gold accents appear on the scroll terminals, the bobeches, and the shade trim braid. The white paint finish has a low-sheen satin appearance that pairs with cream, grey and pastel wall colours, while the gold detail adds warmth without the heavier presence of solid brass. The IP20 rating limits the Grace to dry interior use only — it is not suitable for bathrooms, outdoor locations or any area where moisture or water spray is present.

The Grace takes two E14 (small Edison screw) bulbs up to 40W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K for a soft ambient effect.

Is it dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulb choice. LED E14 bulbs marked as dimmable will work with compatible dimmer switches. Standard non-dimmable LED bulbs will not dim and may flicker if paired with a dimmer.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the Grace is suitable for dry interiors only. It is not rated for bathroom zones where moisture or water spray is present.

How is the organza shade cleaned?

The pleated organza shades can be dusted gently with a soft brush or dry microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks, the shades can be removed from the frame and spot-cleaned with a barely-damp cloth, but avoid soaking the fabric or using spray cleaners.
