Description

The Gosmelle is a square LED downlight with a black plastic frame around a white plastic diffuser. It measures 29.5cm long and 29.5cm wide and just 2.5cm high, so it sits close to the ceiling as a neat, slim panel rather than hanging down into the room. The LEDs are integrated, drawing 13.5W and giving 2,000 lumens, a generous output for a single ceiling light. It is rated IP44, which means it is protected from splashing water, so it works in a bathroom or kitchen as readily as in a dry living room.

In a living room it gives a warm, relaxed white for an evening on the sofa, and in a hallway or kitchen it turns to a cooler, crisper white whenever you need to see clearly. The colour temperature adjusts from 2700K to 6500K, and the colour-changing RGB mode lets you wash a room in teal, pink or whatever shade suits a party or a film night. In a bathroom, a qualified electrician will confirm the right zone. It suits anyone who wants one ceiling light to handle everyday tasks and a bit of fun as well.

It is dimmable and controlled by an app, so you can set the brightness, change the white or pick a colour without leaving your seat, and it also works with a remote control, which is sold separately.
