Description

The Gosmelle is a slim, square LED downlight for the ceiling, 28.5cm long, 28.5cm wide and just 3cm high. A polished chrome frame surrounds a flat white diffuser, and the LEDs are built into the panel, so the whole fitting sits close to the ceiling with a clean, even glow. It gives 2,500lm from 20.5W at 4000K, a crisp, cool light. Its IP44 rating means it is protected from splashing water, so it can go in a bathroom and outdoors in a sheltered place such as a porch ceiling.

In a bathroom it gives the room a bright, even light, and a qualified electrician will confirm the right zone for your layout. It is just as at home in a kitchen, a hallway, a utility room or on a landing, anywhere you want plenty of clear light from one tidy fitting. The cool white is a practical light for a mirror or a worktop, and because the panel is so slim, it suits rooms with lower ceilings where a pendant would get in the way. It is a mains fitting wired into the ceiling, so it is installed by a qualified electrician.
