Description

The Gosmelle is a slim, square LED downlight that sits on the ceiling surface: a brushed brass steel frame around a white plastic diffuser. It is 28.5cm long and 28.5cm wide, and at just 2.8cm deep it sits close to the ceiling, which keeps a room feeling open. The LED is integrated, drawing 20.5W and giving 2,400lm at 3000K, a warm white that stays comfortable through the evening. Its IP20 rating settles where it belongs: indoors, in dry rooms, well away from bathrooms and anywhere near water.

Hallways, landings, bedrooms, studies and living rooms all suit it, and the low profile earns its place under lower ceilings, where a hanging shade would get in the way. The white diffuser spreads the light across the whole face of the panel, so you get a broad, even glow rather than a bare point of light. The brushed brass frame adds a warm metallic edge that sits happily beside timber, cream walls and darker shelving, while the white face keeps the look clean during the day. It suits anyone replacing a tired ceiling light who wants plenty of brightness without a bulky fitting.
