Description

The Gosmelle is a slim, square LED downlight with a black steel frame around a white plastic shade. It measures 28.5cm long, 28.5cm wide and just 3cm high, so it sits neat and low against the ceiling. The LEDs are integrated, drawing 20.5W and giving 2,500lm of cool white light at 4000K, which means there is no bulb to buy or change. It is rated IP44, protected from splashing water, so it can live outdoors on a house wall as well as indoors.

Cool white light at 4000K is crisp and clear, which suits the rooms where you want to see properly: kitchens, utility rooms, hallways, home offices and garages. With its IP44 rating, we would also suggest it for a bathroom, where a qualified electrician will confirm the right zone. The black frame draws a clean outline against a white ceiling, a good match for modern interiors with black taps, handles or window frames. A single panel giving 2,500lm is a generous amount of light for a working space, so it suits anyone replacing a dim old ceiling light with something brighter.

The body is steel and the shade is white plastic, which covers the LEDs and gives one clean, even face of light.
