Description

The Gosmelle is a square LED downlight with a slim white profile, 21cm long, 21cm wide and just 2.8cm tall. Its body is steel in a white finish, and a white plastic diffuser covers the face, giving a clean, flat panel with softly rounded corners. The light source is integrated LED, built into the fitting, so there is no separate bulb to choose. It draws 17W and gives 2,000lm at 3000K, a warm white that feels comfortable in a home. It is rated IP20, which settles where it goes: indoors, in dry rooms, away from bathrooms and outdoor walls.

Because it sits so close to the ceiling, the Gosmelle suits places where a pendant would be in the way: hallways, landings, walk-in wardrobes and rooms with low ceilings. With 2,000lm from a panel this compact, it works well as the main light in a hallway, on a landing or in a bedroom, and two or three in a row can light a longer corridor.
