Description
The Gorbora is a compact LED outdoor wall light: a slim cylinder held off the wall on a neat rectangular bracket, finished in a flecked anthracite grey. It stands 15cm high, measures 6.5cm in length and projects 9.5cm from the wall, so it sits close to the brickwork without crowding a doorway. The body is zinc-plated steel, and the lens sits at the lower end, sending the light downward over a step, a path or a stretch of wall. It takes a GU10 LED lamp and is rated at 2.8W with an output of 250 lumens. Its IP44 rating means it is protected from splashing water, so it lives outdoors on a house wall.
We think it suits a front door, a porch, a side return or the wall beside a garden gate: anywhere a pool of light helps you find the keyhole or see the step. A pair either side of a door gives an even, balanced look. Because corner mounting is possible, an external corner of the house is an option too, which is handy where a flat stretch of wall is hard to find. The anthracite finish sits quietly against brick, render, timber cladding and dark window frames, so it suits modern and traditional homes alike.
It has no switch of its own and is switched at the wall. It runs on mains power at 220 to 240V, 50/60Hz, and as a wired-in mains light it is installed by a qualified electrician. Zinc plating helps protect steel against rust, which matters on a light that spends its life outdoors. The energy class is F, and packed it weighs 0.669KG. The installation instructions come as a download, so you can pass them to your electrician before the day of fitting.

Frequently Asked
Can the Gorbora wall light go outside?
Yes. It is rated IP44, which means it is protected from splashing water, so it can live outdoors on a house wall or a garden wall.
Which bulb does this outdoor wall light take?
It takes a GU10 LED lamp. The light is rated at 2.8W with an output of 250 lumens, and it shines downward from the lens at the lower end.
How big is the Gorbora wall light?
It stands 15cm high, measures 6.5cm in length and projects 9.5cm from the wall, so it is compact enough for a narrow porch or beside a door frame.
Can it be fitted on a corner?
Yes, corner mounting is possible, so an external corner of the house is an option as well as a flat wall.
