Description

The Goldenrod is a 206mm-wide outdoor chain pendant from Quoizel with a western bronze cylindrical frame, removable gold-painted vertical rods and bevelled clear glass panels. A single E27 bulb (sold separately, max 60W) sits inside the glass enclosure, protected from weather while casting light through the bevelled glass and between the vertical rods.

Designed for covered outdoor areas including front porches, back patios, pergolas and entrance canopies, the Goldenrod carries an IP44 rating for protection against water splashes from any direction. The 2438mm chain allows drop adjustment from 513mm minimum to 2988mm maximum on installation, giving flexibility to suit ceiling heights from standard porch overhangs to double-height entrances. The pendant works as a solo statement over a front door or in multiples along a covered walkway.

The gold-painted rods are removable, allowing the pendant to be customised to a simpler all-bronze look or repainted to match specific colour schemes. The bevelled clear glass creates subtle light refraction when lit, adding visual interest without colour-tinting the light output. The combined bronze frame and chain give the fitting a substantial presence that holds up to wind and weather exposure better than lightweight plastics.

The western bronze finish is a mid-tone brown-bronze that pairs with both traditional brick facades and modern render, sitting comfortably between true black and warmer copper tones. What bulb does it take?

The Goldenrod takes a standard E27 Edison screw bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED filament bulb between 6-8W and 2200K-2700K to complement the bronze and gold finish tones.

Are the gold rods permanently fixed?

No. The gold-painted vertical rods are removable, allowing the pendant to be simplified to an all-bronze look or for the rods to be repainted in a custom colour to match specific exterior schemes.

How is the drop height adjusted?

The 2438mm chain is adjustable during installation by removing links to shorten the drop. Once installed and wired, the height is fixed unless the fitting is taken down and re-adjusted.
