Description

The Goa is a wall-mounted LED reading light with a folded metal shade formed into an irregular cone, a flexible arm and a built-in rocker switch on the circular backplate. The integrated 7W LED produces 705 lumens at 3000K warm white, directed through a 60° beam angle that focuses light onto a reading position, bedside table or desk surface without spilling into the wider room.

Designed for bedside reading, living room task lighting and hotel rooms where individual control is needed without hardwiring to a separate switch circuit, the Goa mounts directly to the wall with a projection of just 80mm from the backplate to the outer edge of the shade when folded flat. The flexible arm allows the shade to be angled downward for reading or upward to bounce light off a ceiling or wall as ambient wash. The rocker switch sits on the front face of the backplate, accessible without reaching behind the fitting.

The matt black finish on both the shade and backplate absorbs reflections and pairs with contemporary, industrial and minimalist interiors. The folded metal construction of the shade gives a sculptural profile that reads as three-dimensional rather than flat, with the warm LED glow visible through the open bottom aperture when lit. At 0.75kg the fitting has enough weight to feel solid without requiring reinforced wall fixings on plasterboard.

No. The integrated LED runs at a fixed 7W output and cannot be dimmed. The rocker switch on the backplate provides on/off control only.

How is the arm adjusted?

The arm flexes from the backplate junction, allowing the shade to be angled up or down. The arm holds position through friction in the joint, so it can be repositioned by hand without tools.

What mounting is required?

The Goa requires a standard wall plate with mains supply. The backplate covers the wall plate and fixings once installed. The 0.75kg weight is suitable for plasterboard walls with standard cavity wall plugs.

Can it be used as a bedside reading light?

Yes. The 60° beam angle and adjustable arm make it well-suited to bedside reading when mounted 1.2-1.4m above the mattress height. The built-in rocker switch allows easy on/off control without reaching for a cord or wall switch.
