Description
The Glow is a flexible LED strip light: a slim tube 300cm long and 2.2cm across that hangs from the ceiling in loose, flowing curves. The tube is a white plastic diffuser over integrated LEDs, and the body and ceiling canopy are plastic and aluminium in a textured black. Lit, the whole length glows as one soft, unbroken line, and with 2,500 lumens it gives real working light as well as atmosphere. It is rated IP20, which settles where it belongs: indoors, in a dry room.
We see it working hardest over a long dining table or a kitchen island, where one fitting can trace the length of the surface and light it from end to end. It suits open-plan living spaces and rooms with high or beamed ceilings just as well, and it gives a café or bar a strong, clear line of light. Because the tube drapes into a gentle wave or a deeper dip, you choose the shape that fits your room, so no two installations need look alike. For anyone who likes clean, modern lighting with a bit of movement, it does the job of a pendant and a centrepiece at once.
The LEDs are integrated and cannot be replaced, so there is never a bulb to buy or change. The light is not dimmable and has no switch of its own, so it runs from an ordinary wall switch rather than a dimmer. Fine drop wires from the ceiling carry the tube along its run. It weighs 1.5KG packed. As a wired-in ceiling light, it should be installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a PDF download, so you can read them through before the electrician arrives.

Frequently Asked
Can the Glow strip light go in a bathroom?
No. It is rated IP20, which means indoors and dry, so we would keep it out of bathrooms, outdoor spaces and anywhere near water.
How bright is this LED strip light?
It gives 2,500 lumens from integrated LEDs along its whole 300cm length, enough for real working light over a dining table or kitchen island.
Can I dim the Glow?
No, it is not dimmable. It has no switch of its own and is turned on and off by a standard wall switch, not a dimmer.
How long is the tube?
The tube is 300cm long and 2.2cm across, slim enough to read as a fine line of light as it hangs in curves from the ceiling.
Can the LEDs be replaced?
No. The LEDs are integrated and cannot be replaced, which also means there is never a bulb to buy, fit or change.
What finish is the canopy?
The body and canopy are plastic and aluminium in a textured black, while the tube itself is a white plastic diffuser that glows along its length when lit.
