Description

The Glorion is a 30cm conical pendant light with a matt white-painted metal shade and a white interior that directs bright downlight through the 24cm base aperture. The cone shape measures 27cm in height and tapers from a narrow ceiling rose to a wide 30cm diameter opening at the base, focusing light downward for task or dining use. A single E27 bulb (sold separately) sits inside the cone, and the white interior maximises reflection of the bulb's output.

Designed for positioning above dining tables, kitchen islands and breakfast bars where concentrated downlight is needed, the Glorion hangs on a 2m fabric-covered cable that can be shortened during installation to suit ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3m. The powder-coated metal rosette at the ceiling matches the shade finish and conceals the cable entry. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations only.

The matt white finish on the exterior hides fingerprints and dust better than gloss white, and the monochrome palette allows the Glorion to pair with both warm and cool colour schemes without clashing. The cone geometry gives a mid-century Scandinavian profile that works in minimalist, contemporary and transitional interiors. At 30cm diameter the shade provides focused light over a 90-120cm table width without overwhelming smaller dining areas or galley kitchens.

Frequently Asked

Is the Glorion dimmable?

Yes, but dimmer compatibility depends on the bulb choice. Pair with a dimmable E27 LED and a compatible trailing-edge dimmer for smooth control. Non-dimmable bulbs cannot be dimmed regardless of the fitting.

What bulb does it take?

The Glorion takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W equivalent. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a 6-10W warm-white LED at 2700K-3000K for dining table lighting.

Can the cable length be adjusted?

Yes. The 2m fabric cable can be shortened during installation by looping excess cable above the ceiling rose or cutting and re-terminating at the desired length. The pendant typically hangs 70-90cm above a table surface.

What table size does it suit?

The 30cm shade diameter provides focused light over a 90-120cm table width. For wider tables, consider clustering two or three Glorion pendants in a row, spaced 50-70cm apart along the table centreline.
