Gloriana 48cm Outdoor Sphere Pedestal Light - White Granite Effect

The Gloriana is a 48cm diameter sphere pedestal light with a white plastic diffuser textured to resemble natural granite, mounted on a ground stake for outdoor installation. The single E27 bulb fitting (bulb sold separately) sits inside the sphere, diffusing light evenly through the textured plastic shell. The IP44 rating protects against solid objects larger than 1mm and water splashes from any direction, making the fitting suitable for exposed garden positions, pathways and patio edges.

Designed for pathway lighting, garden borders and outdoor dining areas, the Gloriana includes a 2.15m cable with a standard UK 3-pin plug and a pointed metal stake that pushes into soil, gravel or grass. The stake height is adjustable on installation, allowing the sphere to sit flush with low planting or raised above ground-cover plants. The 48cm diameter provides enough presence to mark a pathway corner or flank a set of garden steps without dominating smaller planting beds.

The white plastic shell with grey granite-effect flecking gives a natural stone appearance while keeping the weight below 2kg, making the fitting easy to reposition seasonally or move for lawn maintenance. What bulb does it take and is one included?

The Gloriana takes a standard E27 bulb up to 60W equivalent. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED bulb between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for outdoor pathway and accent lighting.

Can it be left outside year-round?

Yes. The IP44 rating protects against rain and splashes from any direction, and the UV-stabilised plastic resists degradation from sunlight. However, the fitting uses a standard UK 3-pin plug, so the mains socket must either be weatherproof-rated or located under shelter.

How is it installed and can it be moved?

The fitting includes a pointed metal stake that pushes into soil, gravel or grass. No wiring or permanent fixing is required beyond access to a mains socket within 2.15m cable length. The light weight allows easy repositioning for seasonal planting changes or lawn maintenance.

Is it dimmable?
