Description

The Glimmerlux is a 185mm-high table lamp built around a white ceramic cube base with embossed scrollwork decoration on each face. A white fabric shade sits above the base on a short metal stem, diffusing light from a single E14 bulb (sold separately). The PVC cable includes an integrated inline switch for on/off control without reaching the wall socket.

Designed as bedside lighting or accent lighting on side tables, console tables and narrow shelves, the Glimmerlux's 125mm x 110mm footprint fits tight spaces where a larger table lamp would overhang. The IP20 rating limits it to dry indoor use only. The embossed pattern on the ceramic base adds tactile depth without requiring maintenance beyond occasional dusting with a dry cloth.

The white finish allows the lamp to pair with both warm and cool colour palettes, while the embossed detail adds enough decorative interest to stop it fading into the background. The fabric shade softens the light spread, making it suitable for reading positions where a bare bulb would cause glare. At 185mm height the lamp sits lower than most bedside lamps, which works well on taller bedside tables or where headboard height restricts vertical space.

What bulb does it take?

The Glimmerlux takes a single E14 small Edison screw bulb, sold separately. Most users pair it with a 4-6W LED candle or golf ball bulb in 2700K-3000K warm white for bedside use.

Is it dimmable?

The lamp itself is not dimmable — the integrated inline switch provides on/off control only. If you need dimming capability, choose a dimmable E14 LED bulb and replace the inline switch with a compatible inline dimmer module.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the lamp is suitable for dry indoor spaces only and offers no protection against moisture or water splashes. Do not use in bathrooms, wet rooms or outdoor locations.

How is the ceramic base cleaned?

Wipe the ceramic with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust from the embossed areas. For stubborn marks, a slightly damp cloth is acceptable, but avoid soaking the base or getting water into the lamp holder fitting at the top of the base.
