Description

The Glade is a single LED spotlight with a 90mm circular wall plate and an adjustable cylindrical head finished in powder-coated white metal. The head rotates and tilts on a chromed metal joint, allowing the 3W integrated LED to be directed at artwork, book spines, bedside reading positions or across a desk surface. A small button switch on the circular plate controls the light without needing separate wiring to a wall switch.

Designed for bedrooms, reading corners, hallways and home offices where directed task lighting is needed without a fixed ceiling fitting or table lamp, the Glade mounts directly to a wall using the circular back plate. The 3000K colour temperature produces warm white light that sits comfortably in residential interiors without the clinical tone of cool-white LEDs. The 3W output provides enough light for reading or accent purposes without overwhelming a small space.

The white powder-coated finish gives a clean matt surface that pairs with light-painted walls in modern, Scandinavian and minimalist interiors. The chromed metal swivel joint provides smooth adjustment across a wide arc, and the cylindrical head measures approximately 120mm in length from the plate. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor locations only. At 90mm diameter the wall plate sits smaller than a typical switch plate, making it unobtrusive when fitted above a headboard or next to a doorframe.

No. The integrated 3W LED operates at fixed brightness controlled by the on/off button on the wall plate. It cannot be paired with a dimmer switch.

How is it wired?

The Glade requires a mains electrical connection behind the wall plate. The switch on the plate controls the light, so no separate wall switch circuit is needed, but a qualified electrician must connect it to the mains.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is only suitable for dry indoor locations. It cannot be used in bathrooms, wet rooms or anywhere subject to moisture.

The circular back plate fixes to any solid wall using screws and plugs (supplied). The surface should be flat and the wall construction must support the fixing — plasterboard may require cavity anchors rather than standard plugs.
