Description

A small ceiling spotlight with a clean white body and a broad, soft spread of light. It measures 85mm across, so it reads as a neat disc rather than something that pulls the eye, and the light source sits behind a diffused face. Output is warm white at 3000K, which is the tone most people want in a bathroom or a living space of an evening. The LED and its driver are built in, and it is not dimmable, so it runs from an ordinary switch.

We reach for this where a ceiling is low and a fitting that stands only slightly proud is the sensible answer. It is splash protected, so a shower room, an en suite or a utility sits well within its remit, and it does just as good a job over a kitchen worktop, along a hallway or above a stair landing. At 9W it asks very little of a circuit, and used on its own it will light a cloakroom comfortably; spaced out, several will give an even wash down a corridor. We hold it in this warm white and in a cooler white for kitchens and workrooms.

The body is finished in white, which lets it settle quietly against a pale ceiling, and the same finish carries across the two larger faces in this range if you want more presence over a wider space. It carries a three year warranty. To clean it, turn the power off, let the fitting cool, then wipe the face with a barely damp cloth and keep solvents and bathroom sprays well away from it. The LED is integrated, so there is no lamp to source now or later.
