This giraffe family figurine shows a tall adult giraffe standing with its calf beside a flat-topped tree, the pair rising from a sweeping, rippled base. It is made of resin and hand-painted to look like wood grain, with warm tan and caramel tones running down the necks and legs and deep brown patches marking each coat. The detail is fine up close: the mane is picked out strand by strand, the ears and short horns are neatly shaped, and the calf tucks in close against its parent's side.
