Description

The Ginger is a 45cm tall LED table lamp built around a wide 35cm domed shade finished in a warm wood-grain effect, supported on a slim matt black metal stem and a matching wood-effect circular base. An integrated 12W LED at 3000K sits inside a black metal diffuser bowl partway up the stem, which throws light upwards into the curved underside of the dome and back down as soft, indirect illumination.

The form suits bedside tables, console tables in hallways and sideboards in living rooms, where a low-glare ambient lamp is more useful than a directional reading light. The 35cm shade diameter sits comfortably on furniture from 40cm depth upwards, and the integrated LED removes the need to buy or change a bulb. A line switch on the cable controls the lamp without needing to reach the shade.

The wood-effect finish on the dome and base softens the matt black metalwork and pairs the lamp with mid-century, Scandinavian and contemporary interiors that already feature oak, walnut or warm timber tones.
