The Gin is a 220mm diameter table lamp built from a rose gold-finished cylindrical body with a smoked glass drum diffuser and a matt black base. A copper-toned metal column rises from the black base to support the rose gold drum, which houses a single GU10 downward-facing bulb fitting. The smoked glass diffuser softens the light output and creates a warm ambient glow that spreads horizontally across a table surface rather than projecting upward.

Designed for bedside tables, sideboards and console tables in living rooms, the Gin provides accent lighting rather than reading-level task light. The 250mm overall height sits comfortably beside a bed without blocking sightlines across a room, and the 2.7kg weight gives the lamp stability on narrow surfaces without needing wall fixing. The lamp accepts any standard GU10 LED, halogen or CFL bulb up to the fitting's rated load (bulb sold separately), and will dim when paired with a dimmable GU10 bulb and a suitable GU10-compatible dimmer.

The rose gold finish on the drum is a brushed copper-pink metal that reflects warm light tones and pairs with blush, grey, navy and warm white interiors. The Gin takes a single GU10 bulb, sold separately. Most users pair it with a 4-6W warm-white LED GU10 between 2700K and 3000K for bedside or accent lighting. The fitting supports higher-wattage GU10 bulbs up to the rated load shown in the Specification.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when paired with a dimmable GU10 bulb and a GU10-compatible dimmer. The lamp itself has no built-in dimmer — dimming requires both a dimmable bulb and a suitable mains dimmer switch on the circuit.

What direction does the light shine?

The GU10 fitting faces downward inside the drum, so the light projects down onto the surface beneath the lamp and spreads horizontally through the smoked glass diffuser. This creates ambient wash light rather than upward or directional task light.

Can the smoked glass be replaced?

The smoked glass diffuser is an integral part of the drum assembly. It is not designed to be user-replaceable. If the glass is damaged, contact the manufacturer or Niori for guidance on replacement parts.
