Description

The Gilbert is a 2 light wall light built from matt black metal tubing bent into two parallel arms extending from a circular wall plate. Each arm terminates in a cylindrical E27 lampholder, designed to take exposed filament bulbs (sold separately) that contribute to the industrial aesthetic. The right-angled geometry of the arms positions the bulbs at different heights, creating visual interest on the wall plane.

Designed for bedside positions, hallways, and living room accent walls where decorative and task lighting combine, the Gilbert suits rooms with an industrial, urban or minimalist direction. The 17cm projection from the wall and 25cm width make it compact enough for narrow hallways while the 30.5cm height gives presence above a console table or flanking a mirror. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry interior spaces.

The matt black finish on the metal frame minimises reflections and pairs with monochrome, concrete and exposed-brick interiors. Each arm accepts a single E27 bulb up to 60W, giving flexibility to choose filament-style LEDs for warmth or higher-output bulbs for task lighting. The open-bulb design means the light pattern depends entirely on the bulb choice, with squirrel-cage or teardrop filament bulbs creating downward pools and standard A60 bulbs providing more omnidirectional spread.
