Each tier holds a different density of crystals, with the uppermost tier densest and the lowest tier forming the widest spread, creating a stepped waterfall profile when viewed from the side. Five G9 bulbs sit within the upper tier, positioned to cast light through and across the crystal facets.

Designed for rooms with standard ceiling heights between 2.4m and 2.7m, the 440mm drop from ceiling to lowest crystal tier makes the Gianni suitable for hallways, dining rooms, bedrooms and living rooms where a pendant would hang too low. The 400mm square footprint centres well over a 1.2-1.6m dining table or in a 3-4m hallway. The semi-flush format keeps the fitting close to the ceiling plane while the crystal tiers project downward to fill vertical space without obstructing head height.

The rectangular crystals vary in length from approximately 40mm to 100mm, each cut with multiple facets that refract light into spectrum colours when the bulbs are lit. The fitting takes five G9 capsule bulbs, each up to 33W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with 3-5W LED G9 bulbs in warm white (2700K-3000K) for ambient dining or living room lighting.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, if you fit dimmable G9 bulbs and pair them with a compatible dimmer switch. The chrome frame and crystal structure themselves do not limit dimming — compatibility depends entirely on the bulbs and dimmer combination you choose.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 440mm drop from ceiling to lowest crystal tier suits rooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 2.7m. In rooms below 2.4m the lowest crystals may feel visually heavy; in rooms above 2.7m the fitting may appear undersized unless the room footprint is small.

How is the fitting secured to the ceiling?

At 6.5kg, the Gianni must be fixed to a ceiling joist or a ceiling rose reinforced with a suitable fixing (toggle bolt, cavity anchor or similar) rated for the weight. Standard plasterboard fixings are not sufficient. If in doubt, consult a qualified electrician before installation.
