Description

The Gentry is a 290mm semi-flush ceiling light built around a cylindrical clear glass enclosure held between polished nickel top and bottom bands, with three E14 candle bulbs visible inside the glass. The 244mm drop from ceiling to bottom finial gives the fitting enough presence to act as a focal point without requiring the ceiling height needed for a full pendant.

Designed for hallways, entrance areas, kitchens and bedrooms with ceiling heights between 2.3m and 2.6m, the Gentry provides ambient light through the clear curved glass while the polished nickel frame reflects light back up onto the ceiling. The semi-flush mount sits tight to the ceiling, making it suitable for rooms where a full pendant would hang too low or feel overbearing. The three candle bulbs inside the glass cage provide 360-degree light distribution, reducing shadows in narrow hallways or small square entrance areas.

The clear curved glass panels are held in place by vertical polished nickel struts that divide the cylinder into three sections, with the nickel bands top and bottom providing structural rigidity and concealing the wiring entry point and bulb holders. The polished nickel finish is highly reflective, creating bright highlights under daylight and amplifying the bulb light when the fitting is switched on. The fitting accepts standard E14 candle bulbs up to 40W each, giving flexibility to choose filament candles for a warm vintage look or LED candles for energy efficiency. White candle sleeves conceal the bulb holders behind the nickel struts.
