Description

The Gelid is a crystal wall light built around a polished chrome cylindrical frame holding faceted crystal glass prisms arranged in vertical columns. The single E27 bulb sits inside the cylinder, casting light through the cut crystal to create refracted patterns on adjacent walls and ceilings. The chrome frame measures 147mm wide by 100mm deep with a 212mm height projection from the wall.

Designed for hallways, living rooms and bedrooms where ambient decorative lighting is needed without a ceiling pendant, the Gelid mounts directly to a standard UK back box on a vertical wall surface. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations away from moisture. The 60W maximum E27 fitting accepts LED, halogen or filament bulbs (sold separately), allowing control over colour temperature and brightness to suit the room.

Each crystal prism is individually faceted and held within the chrome frame by metal clips that allow light to pass through the cut edges. The polished chrome finish provides high reflectivity, amplifying the light output from the bulb and intensifying the sparkle effect from the crystal. No. The IP20 rating means the Gelid is suitable only for dry indoor locations. It cannot be installed in bathrooms, shower rooms or other areas where moisture or water splashes are present.
