Description

Our Gedrez LED Downlight Set of 3 gives you three round, recessed ceiling lights in a brushed satin nickel finish, each with an integrated LED, so there is no separate bulb to fit. Each trim is 9cm across and sits neatly against the ceiling, with a plastic body and a clear plastic lens over the light. Every downlight draws 4.9W and gives 520 lumens. They are rated IP20, and that rating settles where they belong: indoors, in dry rooms, away from steam and splashing water.

A set of three suits a hallway, a landing, a kitchen, a living room or a bedroom, where a line of small, even pools of light keeps the ceiling clear and uncluttered. The colour temperature is adjustable across three settings, 2700K, 4000K and 6500K, so the same lights can give a warm, cosy glow in a sitting room or a crisper, cooler white over a kitchen worktop or a desk. Each head tilts within its trim, which lets you angle the light towards a shelf, a picture or a work surface. The satin nickel sits comfortably beside brushed steel appliances, chrome taps and grey or white schemes.

These downlights are not dimmable and have no switch of their own; they are simply switched at the wall. They run on 220-240V mains at 50/60Hz and carry an energy class of F. Blue spring clips hold each downlight in its cut-out, and the whole set has a packed weight of just 0.291KG. A qualified electrician should install them, and the installation instructions come as a download. Each light needs a 6.8cm cut-out and only 2.5cm of recess depth, so measure the space behind your ceiling before you decide where the three lights will sit.
