Description

The Garden is a 9-light cluster pendant from Schuller combining white polycarbonate spheroidal shades with a contrasting gold and matt black metal frame. Each of the nine pendants houses an integrated 6W LED module at 3000K, together delivering 4,621 lumens through textured-interior 15cm diameter spheres. The combined 54W LED array runs on standard 230V mains and is dimmable via TRIAC or 0-10V wall dimmers.

Designed for double-height entrance halls, open-plan living and dining spaces, and stairwells where ceiling heights exceed 2.7m, the Garden creates a cascading vertical installation up to 3m in total drop. The nine pendants are set at staggered heights from a 50cm diameter ceiling rose, forming a column of light that works as both ambient illumination and a vertical feature. The adjustable cable runs allow the overall drop to be tailored between 70cm minimum and 300cm maximum on installation, accommodating different ceiling configurations.

The metal structure combines a matt black ceiling canopy with gold-finished pendant arms and brass-tone rings around each sphere, creating visual separation between each light point when viewed from below. At 12.73kg installed weight, the fitting requires secure ceiling fixing into joists or concrete — gravity toggles are included in the box for plasterboard installations. The polycarbonate shades diffuse the warm 3000K LED light while remaining lightweight compared to equivalent glass spheres, reducing stress on the suspension cables.

The IP20 rating restricts the Garden to dry indoor environments. CRI >84 provides accurate colour rendering for artworks, fabrics and wood finishes in the space below. Energy rating F reflects the integrated LED array; the fixture is not compatible with user-replaceable bulbs.

Is the Garden dimmable?

Yes. The integrated LED array dims via TRIAC phase-cut dimmers or 0-10V dimmers. Compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model — verify the dimmer is rated for LED loads before pairing.

What ceiling height is needed?

The minimum 70cm drop suits ceilings around 2.7m high where the lowest sphere clears head height. The maximum 300cm drop is designed for double-height spaces, entrance halls and stairwells with ceiling heights of 4m or more.

Can the individual pendant heights be adjusted?

Yes. The suspension cables for each of the nine pendants are individually adjustable during installation, allowing the cascade pattern to be tailored to the room proportions and ceiling configuration.

How is it installed on plasterboard ceilings?

Gravity toggles are included in the box for plasterboard installations. Given the 12.73kg installed weight, the ceiling rose should ideally be fixed into a joist or solid backing. If fixing into plasterboard alone, use all supplied toggles and verify the ceiling structure can support the load.
