Description

The Fusion is a 343mm diameter semi-flush ceiling light with three E27 bulb fittings enclosed within a circular frame of amber ribbed glass, held by horizontal and vertical bands finished in Grecian bronze. The fitting sits 229mm below the ceiling rose, making it suitable for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.2-2.5m where a full pendant would hang too low.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms, living rooms and entrance halls with limited ceiling height, the Fusion distributes light through both the ribbed glass sides and a flat glass diffuser at the base. This combination spreads light upwards into the ceiling void and downwards into the room, reducing the hard shadows that direct downlights create. The three E27 sockets accept any standard Edison screw bulbs up to 60W each (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose LED, halogen or filament bulbs depending on preferred light quality.

The Grecian bronze finish on the metalwork shows as a dark bronze with subtle brown undertones, rather than the warmer copper-heavy patina of antique brass or the cooler grey-black of oil-rubbed bronze. The ribbed texture on the amber glass runs vertically and catches the light from inside, creating a linear pattern across the shade when the bulbs are lit. The frame is substantial enough to anchor the fitting visually without dominating the ceiling plane.

Grecian bronze has brown undertones and a slightly warmer appearance, while oil-rubbed bronze leans towards grey-black with cooler undertones. Both are dark bronze finishes but differ in the base metal tone underneath the patina.
