Description

The Fulton is a 10cm cube outdoor wall light built from powder-coated aluminium with an integrated 6W 3000K LED module and adjustable shutters that control the angle and spread of light. The fitting casts light both upward and downward from a compact 10cm × 10cm × 10cm body, with the shutters allowing the beam to be narrowed or widened on installation depending on whether the wall requires accent lighting, wash lighting or pathway illumination.

Designed for external building façades, garden walls, patios and entrance areas, the Fulton carries an IP54 rating for protection against dust ingress and water splashes from any direction. The black powder-coated finish resists corrosion from rain, UV exposure and coastal salt spray, maintaining colour stability over years of exterior service. The fitting mounts directly onto brick, rendered walls or timber cladding using two fixings through the rear plate.

The aluminium construction keeps the fitting lightweight at under 500g while providing the rigidity needed to hold the shutter mechanism in position once adjusted. The 6W LED module delivers warm-white 3000K light with a typical output of 400-500 lumens, sufficient to light a 2-3m section of wall or a patio seating area without creating glare. The shutters adjust by hand on installation and remain locked in position through vibration and wind loading.

What does IP54 mean for outdoor use?

IP54 provides protection against dust ingress and water splashes from any direction, making the Fulton suitable for external walls, covered patios and garden areas exposed to rain. It is not submersible and should not be installed where it would be subjected to high-pressure water jets or prolonged submersion.

How do the adjustable shutters work?

The shutters are adjusted by hand during installation to control the vertical spread of the upward and downward light beams. Once positioned, they remain locked in place through normal wind loading and vibration. This allows the fitting to be tailored to either wash a wall evenly or create narrow accent beams depending on the installation context.

Can the LED module be replaced?

The 6W LED is integrated into the fitting. If the LED fails within the 3-year warranty period, contact Maytoni or Niori for warranty service. The module is not user-replaceable.

What wiring is required?

The fitting operates on AC 100-240V mains supply. It requires a standard outdoor-rated cable run from a junction box or exterior lighting circuit, terminated at the rear plate. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with BS 7671 wiring regulations.
