Description

The Fuerteventura is a 600mm wall-mounted coat rack with an integrated shelf, four coat hooks and a 9W LED strip running along the top edge. The matt white metal shelf projects 130mm from the wall and carries a vertical backplate 80mm high, housing the LED behind a frosted diffuser that emits 600 lumens of 3000K warm white light across a 120° beam angle.

Designed for hallways, entryways and boot rooms where both storage and functional lighting are needed, the Fuerteventura replaces the separate coat hook and wall light pairing common in tight spaces. The four hooks are spaced evenly along the 600mm width, allowing coats, bags, umbrellas and scarves to hang without overlapping. The top shelf provides space for keys, post or a small potted plant, while the LED above illuminates the wall and items below without requiring a separate ceiling or wall-mounted light fitting.

The matt white powder-coated finish works across contemporary, Scandinavian and minimalist interiors, and the 2.7kg weight means the unit requires wall plugs suitable for plasterboard or masonry depending on the wall construction. The LED is integrated and non-replaceable, rated for 25,000+ hours of operation. The wide voltage range (100-250V) makes the fitting compatible with standard UK mains without requiring a separate driver or transformer visible on the wall.

No. The LED is integrated into the metal housing and cannot be replaced. The LED is rated for 25,000+ hours of operation, which equates to approximately 11 years of use at 6 hours per day.

What wall fixings are needed?

The unit weighs 2.7kg. On plasterboard walls, use heavy-duty plasterboard anchors or locate the fixing points on wall studs. On masonry or brick, standard wall plugs and screws are sufficient. Fixings are not included.

Can it be installed in a bathroom?

The fitting carries no IP rating, so it is not rated for use in wet or moisture-heavy environments such as bathrooms. It suits dry hallways, entryways and bedrooms only.

How much weight can the hooks carry?

Mantra does not publish a maximum load per hook. The hooks are designed for typical household items such as coats, bags and scarves. Heavy items such as wet winter coats on all four hooks simultaneously may exceed the design load — distribute weight across the hooks where possible.
