Description

This hinged wooden photo frame opens like a book, with a single picture on one side and a heartfelt friends verse on the other. The left-hand panel holds a 6 x 4in photograph in a rectangular portrait aperture, framed by a smooth border in a soft pink with a matt finish. The right-hand panel carries the word "Friends" in flowing white script, above the lines "good times spent with good friends become precious memories" in a quieter grey, with delicate leaf sprigs drawn into two corners. It measures 17cm along its longer edge and 1.5cm deep.

Because the two panels open on their hinges, the frame stands on its own with no wall or nail needed. Set it on a shelf, a desk, a bedside table or a sideboard and angle it to suit the room. We find the pink tone and pale grey detailing sit happily in a bedroom, a hallway or a home office, and the words make it a piece with meaning rather than just a frame.
