Description

The Freida is a two-light crystal wall light built around a 350mm grey organza drum shade suspended from a polished chrome backplate. Strands of round-cut crystal beads cascade above and below the shade, terminating in hexagonal crystal drops that catch and scatter light from two E14 bulbs housed inside the shade itself.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and hallways where ambient wall lighting is preferred over ceiling fittings, the Freida provides soft diffused light through the organza combined with decorative sparkle from the crystal strands. The 200mm projection from the wall suits rooms with adequate circulation space, positioning the fitting away from door frames and furniture edges. The grey shade works in both neutral and bold colour schemes, providing enough contrast to define the fitting without overwhelming the wall colour.

The polished chrome frame and crystal beads introduce reflective surfaces that respond to natural daylight and artificial room lighting, creating movement as viewpoints shift. The organza weave softens the direct output from the bulbs, reducing glare while maintaining enough light output for functional use. The fitting accepts any E14 candle bulb up to 40W per socket (sold separately), and is dimmable when paired with compatible dimmable E14 bulbs and a compatible wall dimmer.

Yes. The crystal beads and drops can be wiped with a dry microfibre cloth while the fitting is switched off. For heavier dust accumulation, a barely-damp cloth is acceptable, but avoid soaking the organza shade or the electrical components behind it.
