Description

The Francoise is a 641mm triple-arm wall light in burnished brass with three frosted ribbed glass shades mounted on decorative cast-brass arms extending from an ornate backplate. Each arm holds a G9 LED bulb (supplied) behind vertically-ribbed frosted glass that diffuses the light across bathroom mirrors, hallway walls or either side of a fireplace. The backplate features beaded edge detailing and scrolled arms that recall classical French and Georgian metalwork.

Rated IP44, the Francoise can be installed in bathroom zones 2 and 3 (outside the shower enclosure but within the bathroom space) as well as in hallways, living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms. The 641mm span suits wall areas above 2m wide, such as above a double vanity, along a hallway run, or flanking a feature wall. The 191mm projection from the wall keeps the shades clear of picture frames and mirrors while sitting close enough to work as task lighting over a basin.

The burnished brass finish has a warmer, slightly antiqued tone compared to polished brass, with subtle surface variation that catches light differently across the cast detailing. The frosted ribbing on each tulip-shaped shade creates vertical light striations when lit, softening the output and reducing glare. At 241mm tall and 641mm wide, the Francoise has presence without dominating smaller bathrooms or narrow hallways.

Each G9 LED bulb is rated at 3W and 3000K, providing warm white light suited to grooming tasks in bathrooms and ambient lighting in living spaces. The LEDs are integrated as part of the supplied package and do not need separate purchase.
