Description

The Fragma Right is a single-light wall fitting with a curved black chrome ribbon arm that flows from a circular wall plate to suspend a frosted and clear glass globe. The ribbon curves to the right when viewed from the front, creating an asymmetric profile suitable for pairing with the left-hand variant or using solo as an accent piece. The G9 fitting inside the globe takes a single bulb up to 40W.

Designed for bedside positions, hallways, and living room accent lighting, the Fragma Right works in pairs flanking a bed or mirror, or as a standalone feature on chimney breasts and feature walls. The 125mm projection keeps the globe clear of the wall surface, while the 235mm total height fits comfortably between dado and picture rail zones. Dimmer compatibility requires a dimmable G9 bulb and compatible wall dimmer switch on the circuit.

The black chrome finish sits darker than polished chrome, with a gunmetal tone that bridges industrial and contemporary interiors without the harshness of pure black. The frosted glass diffuses the light source while the clear outer layer maintains a crisp edge to the globe shape. At 1kg the fitting is light enough for standard plasterboard fixings with appropriate wall plugs, though masonry or stud mounting is preferred for long-term stability.

Does it come with a bulb?

No. The fitting requires a G9 capsule bulb up to 40W, sold separately. Most users pair this with a 3-5W LED G9 bulb in warm white (2700K-3000K) for ambient bedside or hallway lighting.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, provided you fit a dimmable G9 bulb and the circuit is controlled by a compatible dimmer switch. The fitting itself has no integrated dimmer or switch, so dimming is controlled at the wall switch or circuit level.

Can it be installed on plasterboard?

The 1kg weight is within the range for plasterboard cavity fixings, but masonry or stud mounting is recommended for long-term stability. Use appropriate wall plugs rated for the wall type and load.

Is there a left-hand version?

Yes. A mirrored left-hand variant (M0818BC/L) curves in the opposite direction, allowing the two to be paired symmetrically across a bed, mirror or wall feature.
