Description

The Fox Large is a 30cm pendant light built around a double-layer shade design: an inner chocolate brown metal mesh cage sits inside a clear glass outer cube, creating a lamp-within-a-lamp effect. A single E27 bulb (sold separately) inside the mesh core projects light through both layers, casting soft shadows from the mesh onto the surrounding glass and diffusing ambient light into the room.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and living room focal points in interiors with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Fox works as a solo statement piece or in a run of two or three over longer surfaces. The drop is adjustable between 60cm and 180cm on installation, allowing the pendant to be set at the right height for the room. The chocolate brown lacquered metal finish on the canopy and mesh brings warmth to industrial, mid-century and rustic-modern schemes.

The clear glass outer shade measures approximately 30cm cubed and weighs 1.7kg when fitted. The mesh core inside is fixed and non-removable, so cleaning involves wiping the exterior glass surfaces and vacuuming dust from the mesh through the open bottom of the shade. The E27 lampholder accepts any standard bulb up to 20W, though most users pair this with a warm-white LED filament bulb to accentuate the mesh texture and brown metalwork.

The pendant uses a standard E27 bulb up to 20W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users fit a warm-white LED filament bulb to highlight the mesh texture and complement the chocolate brown metalwork.

Can the drop height be adjusted?

Yes. The drop is adjustable between 60cm minimum and 180cm maximum during installation, allowing the pendant to be set at the appropriate height for dining tables, kitchen islands or high-ceiling spaces.

How is the glass shade cleaned?

Wipe the exterior glass surfaces with a soft microfibre cloth. The metal mesh core inside can collect dust over time — use a vacuum with a brush attachment through the open bottom of the shade to remove buildup without dismantling the fitting.

Is the Fox suitable for bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means this pendant is designed for dry indoor locations only and must not be installed in bathrooms, outdoor areas or anywhere exposed to moisture.
