Description

The Forest is a 1.75m floor lamp with four amber frosted glass shades mounted on curved arms that branch from a brown and black oxide metal stem. Each shade houses a G9 halogen or tungsten bulb (sold separately, max 40W per socket), and the amber frosted glass diffuses the light into a warm glow. The lamp base is a weighted disc approximately 380mm in diameter, providing stability on carpet and hard floors.

Designed for living rooms, reading corners and bedrooms where multiple light sources are needed without ceiling fittings, the Forest provides ambient and task lighting in one tall structure. The branching arms position the shades at different heights between roughly 1.3m and 1.75m from floor level, distributing light across a vertical column rather than clustering it at one height. This works well behind sofas, next to armchairs, or in corner positions where a single pendant or table lamp would leave gaps in coverage. The lamp is dimmable when paired with dimmable G9 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch on the circuit.

The brown and black oxide finish on the metal frame is a factory-applied patina that varies slightly between individual lamps, giving each piece subtle tonal differences in the way the brown and black layers interact. The amber frosted glass shades are hand-blown, so the thickness and exact tone of the amber can differ between shades on the same lamp and between different production batches. The combined metal frame, glass shades and base weigh 6.7kg, giving the lamp a grounded presence that resists tipping when cables or furniture contact the stem.
