Description

The Focus is a single-phase track spotlight with a cylindrical matt black aluminium head housing a GU10 fitting. The head tilts and rotates on a swivel joint fixed to a single-phase track adapter, allowing the light beam to be directed onto specific surfaces, products or artwork along the track run.

Designed for Unity single-phase track systems in retail, hospitality and residential settings, the Focus provides accent or task lighting where multiple adjustable sources are needed from a single ceiling track. The recessed GU10 socket sits inside the cylinder head, keeping the bulb behind the rim to reduce direct glare when viewed from typical standing or seated positions. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor environments.

The aluminium body measures 60mm diameter by 130mm projection from the track, with the track adapter adding 210mm total height from ceiling to spotlight base. The matt black finish pairs with both matt black and white track systems and provides a low-reflectance accent in contemporary and industrial interiors. The GU10 fitting accepts LED, halogen or CFL bulbs up to 10W (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose beam angle, colour temperature and dimmer compatibility independently of the fitting.

What bulb does it take?

The Focus takes a GU10 bulb up to 10W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a 5-7W LED GU10 in either 3000K warm white for residential settings or 4000K neutral white for retail and hospitality.

Is it compatible with all track systems?

This spotlight is designed specifically for Unity single-phase track systems. It will not fit three-circuit or other manufacturer track profiles without an adapter.

How much can the head be adjusted?

The cylindrical head tilts and rotates on a swivel joint, allowing 350-degree rotation horizontally and approximately 90 degrees of tilt from vertical to near-horizontal. This gives enough range to direct light onto walls, floors or specific display areas along the track.

Can it be used in bathrooms or kitchens?

The IP20 rating limits the Focus to dry indoor environments away from direct water contact. It is not suitable for bathroom zones 1-2 or outdoor use.
