Description

The Focus S is a single surface-mounted spotlight built from die-cast aluminium with a matte silver finish and a 360° swivel head housing a GU10 10W bulb fitting. The cylindrical body measures 52mm diameter by 128mm projection from the ceiling, with the swivel mechanism allowing the beam to be directed anywhere within a hemisphere around the mounting point.

Designed for accent lighting in residential and commercial interiors, the Focus S picks out artwork, architectural features, retail displays or kitchen worktops where ceiling-mounted directional light is needed without recessing into the structure. The GU10 fitting accepts any standard GU10 LED or halogen bulb up to 10W (sold separately), giving control over beam angle, colour temperature and brightness depending on the chosen bulb.

The aluminium construction keeps the weight low at under 200g while maintaining rigidity in the swivel joint, so the spotlight holds its angle once positioned. The matte silver finish sits between polished chrome and brushed nickel in tone, giving a neutral metallic accent that pairs with both warm and cool interior palettes. The IP20 rating confirms dry-location use only — the Focus S is not rated for bathrooms or outdoor installation.

The Focus S takes a standard GU10 bulb up to 10W. The bulb is sold separately. Most users pair this spotlight with a 5-7W GU10 LED at 3000K for warm accent lighting or 4000K for task lighting over kitchen worktops.

Can the head be adjusted after installation?

Yes. The swivel mechanism allows 360° rotation and approximately 90° tilt from vertical, so the beam can be directed to any point within the hemisphere around the mounting position. The joint holds the angle once positioned without needing to be locked.

Is it suitable for bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating confirms dry-location use only. The Focus S is not rated for bathroom zones or outdoor installation where moisture is present.

How is it mounted?
