The Focus is a 168mm round recessed LED downlight from Ideal Lux, housing an integrated 20W LED module that produces warm white light at 3000K. The white aluminium trim sits flush with the ceiling once installed, giving a clean minimal profile suitable for both residential and commercial interiors.

Designed for general area lighting in living rooms, hallways, retail spaces and offices, the Focus provides fixed-beam illumination across ceiling heights of 2.4-3m. The recessed fitting requires a ceiling void depth of at least 80mm to accommodate the driver and housing. The 168mm cut-out diameter makes it larger than typical 90-100mm downlights, distributing light across a wider area and reducing the number of fittings needed for even coverage.

The aluminium construction keeps the fitting lightweight at under 400g while providing adequate heat dissipation for the 20W LED. The 3000K colour temperature sits in the warm white range, producing light that complements wood tones, neutrals and warmer interior palettes without the cooler clinical tone of 4000K+ options. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor environments only.
