Description

The Focus LED track light diffuser is a white acrylic cylinder that clips onto the front of Maytoni Focus series track spotlights, softening the beam and reducing glare. Measuring 52mm in diameter and 71mm in length, the diffuser fits the medium 5W Focus spotlight head and converts the directional beam into a wider, softer wash of light suitable for ambient rather than accent lighting.

Designed for track lighting installations in living rooms, hallways, galleries and retail spaces where harsh spotlighting needs to be toned down without removing the track fitting entirely. The diffuser clips on and off without tools, allowing the same spotlight to alternate between focused beam and diffused output depending on changing room use. The white acrylic distributes light evenly across its surface, eliminating the bright centre spot typical of bare LED spotlights.

The plastic construction is rated IP20 for dry indoor environments only and carries a 2-year warranty. The diffuser adds approximately 71mm to the overall projection of the spotlight once fitted. Multiple diffusers can be used across a track run to create zones of softer light while leaving other heads undiffused for task or accent lighting where needed.

This diffuser is designed specifically for the medium 5W Maytoni Focus series track spotlight. It will not fit other Maytoni track ranges or spotlight sizes. Check the product code on your existing spotlight to confirm compatibility before ordering.

Does it reduce the light output?

Yes. The white acrylic diffuses and softens the beam, which inherently reduces perceived brightness at the centre of the beam while spreading light more evenly across a wider area. The total lumen output remains the same, but the light is distributed rather than concentrated.

Can it be used in bathrooms?
