Description

The Focus is a 20W LED magnetic track spotlight built around a cylindrical white aluminium body with a recessed black baffle at the front aperture to reduce glare. The integrated LED delivers 3000K warm white light at a CRI suitable for retail, residential and hospitality applications where colour accuracy matters. The magnetic rear plate clips onto 48V DC magnetic track systems without tools, allowing the spotlight to be repositioned along the track and rotated through 350° on its horizontal axis and tilted on its vertical axis.

Designed for accent lighting in kitchens, living rooms, galleries, retail displays and office task zones, the Focus directs a concentrated beam onto surfaces, wall art, merchandise or architectural features. The magnetic track system allows multiple spotlights to be positioned and adjusted without re-wiring — each unit clips onto the electrified track, draws power through the magnetic connection, and can be moved by hand. The 48V DC supply runs through the track itself, with a separate driver (sold separately) converting mains 230V to low-voltage DC at the track start point.

The white powder-coated aluminium body measures 65mm in diameter and 212mm in height when mounted, with the track adapter adding 193mm horizontal length when fitted. The black baffle inside the front aperture prevents direct view of the LED chip and softens the edge where the beam meets surrounding surfaces. The IP20 rating limits the Focus to dry indoor environments — it is not suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms or outdoor use. Maytoni backs the fitting with a 5-year warranty covering the integrated LED and aluminium housing.

What track system does the Focus fit?

The Focus is designed for 48V DC magnetic track systems. It will not fit standard 230V mains track lighting or three-circuit track systems. A compatible magnetic track and 48V driver are required and sold separately.

Can the spotlight be repositioned once installed?

Yes. The magnetic rear plate allows the spotlight to be moved along the track by hand without tools. It can also be rotated and tilted to adjust the beam direction once clipped onto the track.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The LED is integrated into the spotlight body and is not user-replaceable. The 5-year warranty covers the LED and housing together as a single unit.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the Focus is rated for dry indoor environments only and is not suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms or any space where moisture is present.
