Description

The Focus is a 5W LED magnetic track spotlight with DALI dimming and adjustable colour temperature from 2700K warm white to 6000K cool white, housed in a white aluminium cylindrical body measuring 35mm diameter by 148mm long. The spotlight mounts onto a 48V DC magnetic track system via a magnetic adapter plate that clips into the track channel, allowing repositioning without tools.

Designed for retail, office, gallery and residential track lighting installations, the Focus provides directed accent lighting with full control over brightness and colour temperature via a DALI control system. The adjustable head tilts through approximately 90 degrees, allowing light to be aimed at wall displays, worktops, artwork or architectural features. The magnetic mounting system means each spotlight can be slid along the track, rotated and removed without disconnecting wiring, making layout changes and maintenance faster than screw-fixed track systems.

The white powder-coated aluminium body pairs with white track systems to create a unified ceiling appearance, or provides visual contrast when mounted on black track. The black inner reflector cone focuses the LED output into a controlled beam, reducing spill light and glare outside the target area. The adjustable colour temperature allows the same fitting to deliver warm ambient light at 2700K for evening residential use, neutral white at 4000K for office task lighting, or cool white at 6000K for product display in retail environments, all controlled via the DALI bus without changing the physical fitting.

What is DALI dimming and do I need a DALI controller?

DALI (Digital Addressable Lighting Interface) is a two-way lighting control protocol that allows individual addressable control of brightness and colour temperature over a control bus. You will need a DALI controller and compatible 48V DC magnetic track system to operate this spotlight. Standard mains dimmers will not work.

Can the colour temperature be adjusted?

Yes. The integrated LED can be adjusted from 2700K warm white to 6000K cool white via the DALI control system, allowing the same fitting to deliver warm ambient light for residential settings or cooler task lighting for offices and retail displays.

What track system does this fit?

The Focus is designed for magnetic track systems running 48V DC power. It will not fit standard mains-voltage track lighting rails. The magnetic adapter plate clips into the track channel and holds the spotlight in place via magnetic attraction, allowing repositioning without tools.

Is it suitable for bathroom use?

No. The IP20 rating means the spotlight is suitable only for dry indoor environments. It is not rated for use in bathrooms, kitchens directly above hobs or sinks, or any outdoor application.
