Description

The Focus is a 20W LED track spotlight with DALI dimming control and adjustable colour temperature from 2700K warm white to 6000K cool white, mounted on a magnetic track adapter for tool-free repositioning. The cylindrical white aluminium body measures 220mm in length and houses the integrated LED, driver and DALI control electronics behind a black baffle aperture that reduces glare when viewed from off-axis angles.

Designed for commercial interiors, retail displays, galleries and residential spaces requiring flexible accent lighting, the Focus attaches to Maytoni's 48V DC magnetic track system without screws or tools. The magnetic mount allows the spotlight to be moved along the track and rotated through 355° horizontally and tilted vertically to direct light onto wall art, product displays, worktops or architectural features. DALI control integrates the spotlight into building management systems for centralised dimming and colour temperature scheduling across multiple fittings.

The adjustable colour temperature feature allows a single fitting to provide warm ambient light in the evening (2700K) or cool task light during working hours (6000K), controlled via a DALI interface rather than requiring separate fittings or manual switching. DALI (Digital Addressable Lighting Interface) is a protocol for controlling multiple fittings from a central controller, allowing dimming and colour temperature adjustment across groups of lights. You need a DALI controller or building management system to use this feature. Without DALI control, the spotlight operates at full brightness and default colour temperature.

Can the spotlight be repositioned without tools?

Yes. The magnetic track mount allows the spotlight to be lifted off, moved along the track and repositioned without disconnecting any wires or using tools. The 48V DC track remains live during repositioning, and the magnetic connection is made by simply placing the spotlight onto the track.

What track system does it fit?

The Focus is designed for Maytoni's 48V DC magnetic track system (Exility range). It is not compatible with standard mains-voltage 3-circuit track systems or other manufacturers' magnetic tracks without verification of electrical and mechanical compatibility.

What's the beam angle and throw distance?

The spotlight is designed for accent lighting over a 2-3m throw distance.
