Description

The Focus is a 12W LED magnetic track spotlight with a cylindrical white aluminium head measuring 52mm diameter by 194mm height, designed to clip onto compatible magnetic track systems via a recessed adapter. The integrated LED produces 3000K warm white light through a recessed black baffle that reduces glare and directs output in a focused beam suitable for accent and task lighting.

Designed for retail, gallery, hospitality and residential installations requiring adjustable directional lighting, the magnetic attachment allows the spotlight to be positioned anywhere along a powered magnetic track without tools or pre-drilled fixing points. The head tilts and rotates once clipped to the track, enabling light to be directed onto artwork, displays, worktops or architectural features. The DC 48V low-voltage system runs from a separate driver unit (typically housed remotely in the ceiling void or adjacent to the track run).

The white powder-coated aluminium finish suits contemporary interiors and pairs with white or light-coloured ceilings to minimise visual impact when the spotlight is not the focal point. The recessed black baffle at the head aperture hides the LED module from view at typical angles and creates a defined edge to the light output. The 12W output and 3000K colour temperature provide sufficient brightness for accent lighting without overwhelming smaller rooms or creating harsh shadows.

Frequently Asked

What magnetic track system does this fit?

The Focus is designed for Maytoni's Exility magnetic track system and similar DC 48V magnetic track profiles. The magnetic adapter clips onto the track without tools and the spotlight can be repositioned along the track run as needed. Compatibility with third-party magnetic tracks should be confirmed before ordering.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The LED is integrated into the spotlight head and is not user-replaceable. The unit carries a 5-year warranty and the LED is rated for tens of thousands of hours of operation before significant lumen depreciation occurs.

Can the light direction be adjusted?

Yes. Once the magnetic adapter is clipped to the track, the cylindrical head tilts and rotates, allowing the beam to be directed at displays, walls, worktops or other surfaces within the spotlight's range of movement.

What driver is needed?

The Focus runs on DC 48V, which requires a compatible driver unit to convert mains 230V AC to the low-voltage DC supply. The driver is typically installed remotely in the ceiling void or adjacent to the track. Maytoni magnetic track systems usually include or specify compatible drivers as part of the track kit.
