Description

The Maytoni Focus is a 12W LED track spotlight with integrated DALI dimming control and adjustable colour temperature ranging from 2700K warm white to 6000K cool white. The cylindrical black aluminium head mounts onto a magnetic track adapter that clips into compatible Maytoni Exility 48V DC magnetic track systems, allowing the spotlight to be repositioned along the track length without tools.

Designed for retail displays, gallery lighting, office task lighting and residential accent lighting where colour temperature needs to shift during the day or between different uses. The DALI protocol allows the spotlight to be addressed individually within a lighting control system, so multiple Focus spotlights on the same track can be set to different brightness levels and colour temperatures independently. The 12W LED output provides focused beam light suitable for highlighting artwork, merchandise, architectural features or task surfaces from ceiling heights of 2.5-3.5m.

The black powder-coated aluminium body measures 195mm length x 52mm diameter and weighs approximately 400g including the magnetic adapter. The cylindrical head rotates 350° horizontally and tilts 90° vertically on friction joints, locking position once the desired angle is set. The magnetic connection between the track adapter and the Exility track rail carries both 48V DC power and DALI control signals, so no additional control wiring is needed beyond the track itself. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor environments.

What track system does this fit?

The Focus spotlight fits Maytoni Exility magnetic track systems only. It will not work with standard 3-circuit track lighting or other manufacturers' magnetic tracks. The magnetic adapter clips into the Exility 48V DC track rail and can be repositioned along the track without needing to switch off the power.

How is the colour temperature adjusted?

Colour temperature is controlled via the DALI protocol using a compatible DALI controller or lighting management system. The spotlight can be set to any colour temperature between 2700K and 6000K, and this can be programmed to shift automatically at different times of day or triggered manually via wall controls or apps depending on the DALI system in use.

Can it be dimmed without a DALI system?

No. The Focus spotlight requires a DALI controller to dim and to adjust colour temperature. It cannot be controlled via standard dimmer switches or non-DALI controllers. If DALI control is not available, the spotlight will operate at full brightness and default colour temperature when powered.

What beam angle does it provide?
