Description

The Fluxion-2 Large is a 360mm diameter pendant light with a wide conical white metal shade supported by a brass cage frame and canopy. The shade flares to a flat horizontal brim, directing light downwards while the white interior reflects it back to soften shadows. A single E27 bulb holder sits exposed beneath the shade, visible when the pendant is viewed from below.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and central living room positions, the Fluxion-2 works in rooms with ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards. The 1020mm cable length allows the pendant to be set 600-900mm above a worktop or dining surface depending on ceiling height and desired coverage. The wide shade diameter provides focused downlight over a 1.2-1.5m area directly beneath, making it suitable for task lighting over preparation zones or ambient lighting over dining.

The white powder-coated metal shade contrasts with the brass hardware — the four-bar cage, twisted fabric cable and cylindrical canopy all carry a warm brass finish. The cage frame protects the shade during installation and adds structural presence without blocking light output. The pendant is rated IP20 for dry indoor use and accepts any standard E27 LED or filament bulb up to 60W (sold separately), with dimmer compatibility dependent on the specific bulb chosen.

The flat horizontal brim of the shade sits 200mm below the canopy when fully extended, giving the pendant a low-profile appearance from the side. This makes it suitable for rooms where a deep drop pendant would visually divide the space. The white finish pairs with both warm and cool interior palettes, while the brass accents connect with other brass or gold-toned hardware in the same room.
