The Flimarne is an LED flush ceiling light made from a run of interlocking oval rings in a black finish. Each ring is lined with a white plastic diffuser, and the rings are gathered on a round canopy that sits against the ceiling. It measures 88cm long, 30cm wide and only 8cm high, so it keeps close to the ceiling and spreads its light across a long stretch of the room. The light source is integrated LED, drawing 38W and giving 4,400 lumens at a warm white 3000K. It is rated IP20, which means it is made for dry rooms indoors, away from bathrooms, steam and the weather.

Because it sits so low against the ceiling, it suits rooms where a hanging pendant would crowd the space. That includes a dining room above a long table, a living room or a bedroom with a modest ceiling height. The long oval shape lines up neatly with a dining table or a sofa. At 4,400 lumens it gives plenty of light for a single fitting, so it can work as the main light in the room.
