Description
The Flicker is a 1100mm linear LED suspension light built from white-finished aluminium with an integrated 20W LED strip running the full length of the housing. The light bar measures just 34mm wide and 30mm deep, creating a slim profile that sits discreetly above kitchen islands, workbenches, office desks and dining tables. The integrated LED emits 3000K warm white light through a diffuser panel on the underside, casting even illumination along the full 1100mm length.
Designed for task and ambient lighting in residential kitchens, home offices, commercial workspaces and hospitality settings, the Flicker mounts on a cable suspension system with adjustable drop height to suit ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards. The linear form provides wide coverage along a counter or table without the need for multiple pendant fittings. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to indoor dry locations — bathrooms, outdoor canopies and damp utility spaces require higher IP-rated alternatives.
The white aluminium housing pairs with white, light grey and neutral interiors, and the non-dimmable LED simplifies installation by not requiring dimmer compatibility checks. The 20W output delivers sufficient task light for food preparation, desk work and general surface illumination without creating glare or harsh shadows. At 1100mm, the Flicker suits kitchen islands measuring 1200-1800mm, office desks and narrow dining tables where a single linear source is more efficient than multiple pendants.

Frequently Asked
Is the Flicker dimmable?
No. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and operates at a fixed 20W output on 230V mains. It must be fitted to a standard switched circuit without a dimmer.
What drop height is needed above a kitchen island?
For task lighting above a kitchen worktop or island, the fitting typically hangs 700-900mm above the surface. This requires a ceiling height of at least 2.4m to avoid head clearance issues. The cable suspension system allows the drop to be adjusted during installation.
Can it be used in a bathroom?
No. The IP20 rating restricts the Flicker to dry indoor locations only. Bathrooms require fittings with IP44 or higher protection against moisture and splashes.
What colour temperature does it provide?
The integrated LED emits 3000K warm white light, which sits between neutral white and the warmer 2700K tone typically used in living rooms. 3000K suits kitchens, offices and commercial spaces where clarity and warmth are both needed.
