Description

The Fleur is a 40cm outdoor pendant light with a lantern-style body in gold and black aluminium, fitted with Pulegoso bubble glass panels and suspended on an adjustable chain. The aluminium frame is powder-coated for corrosion resistance and carries an IP44 rating, meaning it's protected against splashing water from any direction but must be installed under cover rather than in open weather.

Designed for covered porches, pergolas, carports and veranda ceilings, the Fleur provides downward-directed light through the Pulegoso glass panels. The bubble effect within the glass diffuses the light output from the single E27 bulb (sold separately), softening glare and creating a warm ambient glow across porch steps, doorways and outdoor seating areas. The adjustable chain allows the drop to be shortened during installation to suit ceiling heights between 2.2m and 3m.

The gold finish on the aluminium frame is applied as a metallic powder coat rather than plating, giving a warmer tone than polished brass and requiring no ongoing polishing to maintain the finish. The black detailing on the canopy, chain links and decorative scrollwork around the glass panels provides contrast and definition. The 15cm diameter body keeps the pendant compact enough for smaller porches while the 40cm overall height gives presence when viewed from street level.

What bulb does it take?

The Fleur takes a standard E27 bulb up to 60W (sold separately). Most users fit a warm-white LED bulb between 6-10W and 2700K for outdoor ambient lighting that doesn't attract insects as much as cooler colour temperatures.

Can the chain length be adjusted?

Yes. The chain is adjustable during installation, allowing the pendant to be shortened to suit ceiling heights between 2.2m and 3m. Excess chain can be removed and stored if not needed.

How is the gold finish maintained?

The gold finish is a powder-coated metallic layer on aluminium, so it does not tarnish or require polishing like brass. Wipe with a damp cloth if needed. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that could scratch the coating.
