Fletcher 34" 7 Light Flush Ceiling Light - Aged Brass with Ivory Shade

The Fletcher is an 864mm (34") diameter flush ceiling light with a cylindrical ivory faux silk shade and an aged brass central finial. The fitting sits 292mm from the ceiling and houses seven E27 bulb positions behind a gloss white acrylic diffuser that evens out the light distribution across the shade. Bulbs are sold separately, with a maximum combined load of 60W per socket.

Designed for larger living rooms, dining rooms and open-plan spaces with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Fletcher provides broad ambient light coverage without the drop of a pendant. The flush mount design keeps the fitting close to the ceiling, making it suitable for rooms where a chandelier or suspension light would hang too low. The seven-bulb configuration allows for higher total light output than single-bulb flush fittings, giving the option to light a 20-25m² space from a single central point.

The ivory shade is a textured faux silk fabric stretched over a metal drum frame, providing a soft diffusion that reduces glare compared to exposed bulbs or clear glass shades. The aged brass finial at the base adds a warm metallic accent that pairs with traditional brass hardware, warm wood tones and both classic and transitional interiors. The diffuser plate inside the shade is gloss white acrylic, which reflects light back through the fabric rather than allowing it to pool at the ceiling.

What bulbs does the Fletcher take?

The fitting takes seven E27 (Edison screw) bulbs, sold separately. Each socket is rated to 60W maximum. Most users pair this with seven warm-white LED bulbs between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for ambient room lighting.

What room size does it suit?

The 864mm diameter and seven-bulb configuration make the Fletcher suitable for rooms between 20-25m² floor area. Smaller rooms may find the fitting visually dominant, while larger spaces may need supplementary lighting from wall lights or floor lamps.

Is it suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. The flush mount design sits 292mm from the ceiling, making it appropriate for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. In rooms with 2.4m ceilings, the base of the shade will sit at approximately 2.1m from the floor, well above head height.

Can the shade be cleaned?

The faux silk fabric shade can be dusted with a soft microfibre cloth or vacuumed gently using an upholstery attachment. Avoid water or cleaning sprays, which may stain or discolour the fabric.
